Abstract
The authors present a procedure that interfaces the transmission-line matrix method with frequency-domain solutions of electromagnetic fields. Hence, the corresponding boundary Johns matrix can be determined with minimum computational effort. Good results were obtained and a substantial CPU time reduction, compared with other approaches, was observed. Applications of the proposed approach to wideband absorbing boundaries in waveguides and to highly conductive shields are discussed.<>
