Abstract
The use of solid state electronics and radios in vehicles causes several EMC problems as they are potentially susceptible to electromagnetic interference. The author divides automotive EMC requirements into four basic categories: conducted emissions; conducted susceptibility; radiated emissions; and radiated susceptibility.<>
