Abstract :
This paper describes about the stability of the field emission cathodes from fibers. In practice the emitting surface of field emission cathodes(FEC) from carbon fibers is the surface of the break of a fiber without any processing of the break. But since emission centers of FEC are multitudinous and inhomogeneous the cathodes haven´t the required stability and cannot be reproduced. To provide high stability of FEC from carbon fibers the original technological process of making the reproducible configuration for every individual carbon fiber has been developed.
