Abstract :
Connecting rod is one of the important parts of diesel engine, connecting rod pass the cylinder combustion pressure to the crankshaft and external work, in a very short period of time the connecting rod will undertake a different alternating load, so the strength and fatigue situation has been the focused by researchers at home and abroad. In this paper, Pro/MECHANICA finite element analysis software is used to the structural analysis of the 240 diesel engine connecting rod, the strength and fatigue life of this type of connecting rod are the main analysis in this paper.
