Abstract :
Backward wave oscillator is well known as high power microwave device which can generate over GW level power. Synchronism with relativistic electron beam accelerated by MV voltage level determines the period of rippled wall slow wave structure that is slowly varying. But the slow wave structure itself of BWO have a possibility to be able to apply low energy device of low current and low accelerating voltage. This study includes preliminary research about the application of low energy BWO.
