Abstract :
As mobile communication systems and the rapid development of Internet technology, in order to provide more variety of services, the integration with kind of networks has become a necessity. This is urgent need of the new-generated AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting) technology based on IP. Diameter protocol as a new AAA protocol will play an important role in next generation network. First detailed analysis of the diameter protocol, then IMS Cx interface base on the diameter protocol as an typical application are fulfilled designed.
