Abstract :
Polyaniline(PAni) was prepared by an in situ polymerization in aqueous solution, and PAni/ZnO composite was synthesized by mechanical method. The composite was characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Ultraviolet-visible spectrometer (UV-vis) and Scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results of XRD confirm the formation of PAni and PAni/ZnO composite. The UV-vis spectrometer study shows that the π-π* absorption peak of PAni/ZnO composite has a red shift of 35 nm, as compared with that of the PAni. In the frequency range of 8.2-12.4GHz, the real part of permittivity (ε´) and the loss factor (tanε) of the PAni/ZnO composites are 7.25-7.45 and 0.50-0.51, respectively, which is lower than those of pure PAni.
