Abstract :
The MMP is applied to the 2-D scattering problem of the 1-D periodical array, which is constructed of a cylinder element with the cross-section composed of piecewise linear, homogeneous, isotopic materials. The basic principle and the problem-solving steps are introduced. As examples, the resultant fields of the array are constructed of the cylinder element with the cross-section of dielectric-coated conducting disc, separated dielectric elliptical and conducting circulating discs, and partly conducting and partly dielectric geometrically irregular disc, as solved by the proposed method, are given.<>
