Abstract :
Electromagnetically coupled microstrip patch antenna arrays are analyzed with the help of the method of moments. It is demonstrated that large arrays are most efficiently analyzed by performing the calculation in both spectral- and space-domain, depending on the lateral separation of the patches. The results are derived by using the rigorous dyadic Green´s function of the grounded multilayered slab, therefore including all the coupling effects and the influence of the surface waves.<>
