Title :
Integrity aspects of real time networks
Author_Institution :
British Aerosp. Dynamics Ltd., Stevenage, UK
Abstract :
A discussion is given on the principal technical features of real time networks which significantly ease the difficult task of providing high levels of integrity in real time system development. Real time network design lies at the heart of the approach, allowing important dynamic and distributive properties to be addressed. The rationale for the notation and structural forms is explained, together with the partitioning implications of interface specifications. Some recent multiprocessor architecture developments are described which provide an ideal implementation medium for real time networks
