Abstract :
The paper presents the problem of influence of noise on oscillations in a BWO(backward-wave oscillator) is explored by computer modelling. Oscillations in the backward-wave oscillator transform from single frequency up to chaotic when the electron beam current increases. Numerical simulation is carried out in the frame of a known simple 1D one parametric model of the BWO added by a source of external white noise.
