Abstract :
This paper presents the propagation characteristics and radiation patterns of a base station antenna (BSA) for a personal communication system measured indoors with a curved passage-way. To realize the optimization of propagation environment, an experimental study is performed for various positions of the base station and for various angles of the hand-held antenna mounted on a mobile station indoors. The dependence of the polarization component of the antenna is discussed for a practical indoor propagation environment.
