  • Abstract
Presents a systematic by-hand method of analysis of the nonlinear behaviour of circuits containing FETs. Since such a solution for a general network containing FETs is not possible the authors have to place some restrictions on the circuit architecture. Since active devices are key elements in circuits, it seems natural to explore initially circuits consisting entirely of active devices in which the nonlinear I-V characteristics of the various devices interact with each other to produce a required overall circuit behaviour. The authors thus define the class of all-FET circuits which consist entirely of FETs with the addition only of CR networks in which capacitors couple AC signals to FET gates and resistors define the DC voltages
