            Abstract : 
Voltage sags and interruptions originating on primary and secondary sides of facilities are among the most concerning issues for industrial customers. In the paper a classification approach to costs involved by the mentioned power quality (PQ) disturbances in industrial end-use segment is illustrated. To this aim some of the most diffuse mitigation techniques have been considered. Finally, a case study concerning a novel approach adopted for solving PQ problems in a semiconductor factory has been illustrated and discussed
