Abstract :
In this paper we discuss a novel scheme of periodic permanent magnet(PPM) focusing structure design having non-conventional magnetic periods. The design of the magnetic circuit is accomplished by use of finite element code ANSYS. This code solves for the magnetic field and flux density at all mesh points using vector potential technique.
