Abstract :
A technique to analyze scattering and radiation from metallic surfaces conformed to a body of revolution based on the conjugate gradient-fast Fourier transform (CG-FFT) method is presented. Such structures are especially suitable for FFT treatment because of their periodic behavior in the azimuthal coordinate. The method is efficient in CPU time and minimizes the memory storage requirements. Several results are presented and compared with numerical or measured values that appear in the literature.<>
