Abstract
A circular patch antenna with TM/sub 0m/ mode for omnidirectional pattern has been analyzed and fabricated at 2.35 GHz using G-10 glass epoxy material. A VSWR (voltage standing wave ratio) of 1.42, a gain of 5 dB with respect to a lambda /2 dipole reference antenna, and an efficiency of 87% has been achieved. Close agreement between theoretical and experimental results has been obtained.<>
