Abstract :
Deforming force of magnesium alloy tube extrusion about cone dies had been studied theoretically by block method and numerical simulation method, and the formulas and predictive Results were certificated by experiments. The results showed that theoretical results of extrusion force given by calculating formula and numerical simulation method were approaching to those of experiments and the average value of relative error is about 10 % and 14 % respectively. It was concluded that theoretical calculating formula in this paper and numerical simulation method were veracious and had certain practical value in engineering.
