Abstract :
The fourth party logistics (4PL) is a new logistics form and it´s the result of professional and integrative logistics. The appraisal to the 4PL enterprise´s core competence is imperative under the situation. The paper analyzed the 4PL enterprise´s core competence, and established the index system of 4PL enterprise´s core competence. On the basis of investigation about indexes of the 4PL enterprise´s core competence, the paper established the improving neural network model with information entropy. Then, the paper applied information entropy to reduce index system, and found out more proper appraisal indexes of the 4PL enterprises. Then it used improved BP neural network model to appraise the 4PL enterprise´s core competence. Via case analysis, proved this method´s tangibility and validity to appraise the 4PL enterprise´s core competence.
