Abstract
Software architecture is composed of the design and its set of design decisions. The documentation of design decisions is important in capturing architectural knowledge, but current methods of capture are tedious processes. A new method is being proposed that would reduce the amount of work needed to capture design decisions while increasing traceability by acting as a memory-aid. We propose an empirical validation of the approach by evaluating a tool that implements the method.
