Abstract :
In this paper, the Rake receiver techniques of the IR-UWB system are introduced. The modulation model of the receiver base on the IEEE802.15.4a channel model is designed and the performance of the Rake receiver in different environments are simulated. The results reveal that the environments have obvious influence on the IR-UWB Rake receiver. With the same multipath components(MPCs) numbers, the performance of the Selective-Rake better than the Partial-Rake in the same conditions. In the design of the UWB rake receivers, the using environment, system performance and structure complexity should be considered integrately.
