Abstract :
The author analyzes plane-wave diffraction by an open-ended parallel plate waveguide with dielectric/ferrite loading for the case of E polarization. The Wiener-Hopf technique is applied and the formal exact solution is obtained. Explicit scattered field representations in the real space can be derived by making appropriate substitutions and taking the inverse Fourier transform of the results.<>
