Abstract :
For Pt.I see ibid., vol.2, p.1054-1057 (1991). The authors rigorously analyze plane-wave diffraction by an open-ended parallel plate waveguide cavity with dielectric/ferrite loading for the case of H polarization using the Wiener-Hopf technique. Since the Wiener-Hopf technique takes into account the edge condition rigorously, the solutions obtained contain all the necessary edge diffraction processes, and they are valid for arbitrary cavity apertures.<>
