Abstract :
A new concept is developed at BenQ Mobile. It allows to simplify and speed-up a software development process, by separating it into two different steps. With the first step it´s only necessary to describe an application in a hardware independent way and with the second step this description is transformed into a hardware specific application. That allows the developers to use the same high-level description for many different hardware platforms. This paper describes the concept and shows how a WLAN protocol stack was implemented by using this concept
