Abstract :
We propose a framework for local QoS prediction in mobile wireless networks in this paper. The basic mechanism includes extracting affected parameters within the mobile environment, managing local information dynamically and predicting local QoS performance supported by several models of the networks. All the models are built coordinated to quantify the parameters in the network, and combine the parameters from lower layers with the parameters in higher layer, so that the QoS performance, such as delay and packet loss can further be predicted in the mobile environment.
