Abstract :
This paper investigates the use of currently available EUTELSAT satellite transmission systems as an immediate solution for the deployment of early ATM services. It describes the results of rests and trials of ATM transmissions on EUTELSAT satellites using TDMA for purposes of validating the quality of satellite channels carrying ATM traffic
