Abstract :
Organization and Management of mass multi-source spatial data are core functions of digital earth software which contribute directly to the availability and efficiency of the software itself. A novel organization and index method which combines the UTM latitude-longitude grids index and the dynamic level of detail model to organize data logically and use the "polymerization file" to store data physically for massive spatial data is presented in this paper. The architecture, physical deployment, network protocols and load dispatching of mass multi-source spatial data are discussed in detail.
