Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate a new coaxial ridge-loaded disk-loaded cylindrical waveguide. The cross-section of the TWT with the ridge-loaded disk-loaded cylindrical waveguide slow-wave structures have some superior properties compared with the no ridge-loaded TWTs. Dispersion and gain curves for different beam voltage and width of gap show that, a high gain and a broad band is necessary to select a larger width of gap and an appropriate thickness of ridge.
