Abstract
The angle errors due to radome seam scattering are simulated for a tracking phased array at various mechanical and electronic scans. The dual antenna considered consists of an LFOV (limited-field-of-view) phased array and an FFOV (full-field-of-view) phased array. The 78 ft diameter metal space frame radome consists of high-strength metal seams joined together at hubs in such a fashion as to structurally approximate a shell capable of sustaining large loads. The computer simulations of the angle error due to the radome effect considered are valuable in trading off radome geometries and in supporting track analysis so as to arrive at a best system configuration.<>
