Abstract :
Recently, the geomagnetic matching underwater navigation system has become the focus point of studies home and abroad. As the typical navigation algorithm TERCOM plays an important role in this system. However, due to the INS error, the algorithm mechanism and background field distribution and so on various effects, the stability of TERCOM is not high. Therefore, a TERCOM mismatch diagnostic method which is based on detecting the extreme value of similarity is study in detail in this paper. After the test, the advantages of the new algorithm are proved.
