Abstract
Broadband two layers stacked Micro strip Antenna with a folded plate pair, is presented in this project. The proposed antenna is able to achieve an impedance bandwidth of 95% for VSWR 2 centered at 5GHz. This reported bandwidth is by far the largest achievable through Differential feeding technique. It has maximum gain around 5.6209dB at the centre frequency for finite ground plane. Same design can be used for dual band 900/1800 GSM at operating frequency 1.3 GHz.
