Abstract :
Spreading of molten metal during high temperature brazing of molybdenum-rhenium substrates by molybdenum-nickel fillers is a critical phenomenon in materials processing essential for dispenser cathode manufacturing. Presence of nano-particles in composite materials may impact resulting bond properties and joint integrity. This paper offers an insight into a study of spreading of the Mo/Ni braze filler doped by Mo/Ni nanoparticles.
