Abstract :
This paper presents a model predictive control formulation that incorporates trajectory sensitivity to improve the robustness of the conventional model predictive control strategy. A numerical example is used to illustrate the potential of this approach. The numerical results suggest that the proposed approach may be an alternative to robust model predictive control strategies when the latter leads to excessive computation requirements or conservatism.
