Abstract :
Anti-theft system of monitoring on petroleum pipeline is an important part of safety and protection system on petroleum and chemical engineering industries. In this paper, conventional Anti-theft system of monitoring on petroleum pipeline is simply introduced and its merits and shortcomings are analyzed. Then, a novel Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based anti-theft system of monitoring on petroleum pipeline is proposed, which is designed with the method from bottom to top and according to the special application field of the safety and protection system on petroleum pipeline. The proposed Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based anti-theft system of monitoring on petroleum pipeline consists of a subsystem of WSN, a common shared platform for data transfer and service and a subsystem for concentric monitoring and controlling. Accurately pre warning could be realized in the proposed Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based anti-theft system of monitoring on petroleum pipeline.
