Abstract
Software enterprises have an inclination for quality improvement activities to improve their quality level and enhance their market competitiveness. However, those quality improvement activities are most often reduced to a mere formality, Software enterprises always find it very difficult for them to attain the goals of improvement they have originally set. The crux lies in the failure to effectively manage and reuse the quality knowledge generated during the quality improvement process. The paper proposes a continuous quality improvement (CQI) Model based on knowledge management, and then further demonstrates it with a case study.
