Abstract
An approach is presented which is shown to enable efficient improvement in the retrieval of true excitations of the elements of an array in the face of measurement errors and approximate knowledge of true values. This approach uses the regularization method of A.N. Tikhonov and V.Y. Arsenin (1979). The technique is obviously limited to arrays of a moderate number of elements.<>
