Abstract
Many inverse problems are accompanied by a Fredholm integral equation of the first kind. The maximum entropy method (MEM) is extended and generalized to solve this equation with complex parameters and data. The iterative numerical algorithm of the general MEM is presented, and results of numerical simulation on electromagnetic inverse scattering are shown.<>
