Abstract :
Loads of two linear guides have been analyzed by mechanics theory. A simplified mechanical model of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) feeding system is established with a VH1100 high-speed vertical machining centers as the object of study. On the basis of the simplified mechanical model, when moving parts are in different stroke of X-axis, deformation of a gantry type beam has been analyzed by finite element method. Deformation of the beam has been measured. The normal force of PMLSM has been achieved by finite element simulation and relevant experiments. The simulation results are in good agreement with measured data, indicating the accuracy of the model.
