Abstract :
The software capability maturity model (SW-CMM) provides software organizations with guidance to how to gain control of their processes for developing and maintaining software and how to evolve toward a culture of software engineering and management excellence. Prof. J.N.Warfield has tried to identify and name each distinctive origin of one or more behaviorally related symptoms. Mindbugs (cognitive barriers) according to SW-CMM are studied. The research finds that the most mindbugs of software process improvement is misattribution of consensus through demonstration study, including questionnaire survey and case study.
