Abstract :
Electronic displays have non-uniform regions of chromaticity. In the present paper, a novel method that evaluates the mura grade of electronic displays using a chromaticity mura index E is presented. The index E is calculated using a filtered image obtained by the color contrast sensitivity function (CSF). The experimental results showed strong relations between the human sensory evaluation scores and the mura index E values.
