Abstract
Innovative education focuses on the goal of training students´ innovative spirit and ability and therefore is an important teaching research subject in colleges and universities. In higher education institutions, traditional teaching, which attaches importance to theory and despises the training of students´ all-around quality, ignores to train students´ sense, ideation and ability for innovation. As a result, it does not fit to new demands for talents raised by the society. This paper discusses teaching methods of innovative education which centers on training innovative talents of non-computer professions in engineering colleges and further puts forward concrete measures and approaches to innovate teaching notions, teaching model and teaching method.
