Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

This paper mainly researches national characteristic major construction of “Electrical Engineering and Automation” in Henan Polytechnic University. The goal of the characteristic major construction is made clear, the existing problems in the teaching management are analyzed, and the construction ideas are proposed. The analyzed contents include the teaching management system, talent training scheme, construction of contingent of teachers, curriculum construction, teaching material construction, teaching methods and means, and graduation design, and so on. This paper can provide references for the characteristic major construction.
