Abstract :
Internal friction results from the wastage of the mechanical energy inside materials. It is very sensitive to microstructure and dynamic change process happening in the materials. The major work in this paper is to measure the internal friction of nanocrystalline Ni and alloys of Ni and Fe in low and high temperature by means of the frequency modulation apparatus (FMAA-1). And several relaxation peaks were also found and discussed.
