Profile Management Framework Based on Web Services for Providing Personalized Services

In this paper, we propose the efficient profile management method to provide personalized services to user. To personalized services, the profile should be configured various user related information, be exchanged among user device, profile repository, and service server according to periodic, aperiodic, and events, and be provided to service providers who use them for personalized services. To solve these problems, we configure the profile with various user related information that use the Web Services to exchange profiles among client device, profile repository, and services server. We also apply metadata and dynamic configuration techniques for efficient profile management. As a result of performance evaluation, the proposed techniques in profile management framework are efficient to manage the profiles.
