  • Abstract
Microsoft Office Word is the most commonly used document writing software in Chinese college and university. At present, Office Word learning mainly depends on teacher´s presentations, and student´s learning effect is carried on by the form of paper-based test with choice type. This teaching and evaluation of the results are not very satisfactory. In this paper, a novel Office Word format examination educational software based on office automation technology is proposed. The software has a flexible framework which supports both desktop and web deployments, and which could check word format according to different requirements easily. Using the Word object model and Excel object model, the software could check a group of Word documents and export the check report as Excel. Practice has proved that the examination software could aid the students self learning.
