  • Abstract
The feasibility of two-way (transmit/receive) adaptive time synchronization and phase cohering of a widely distributed array of radar T/R modules was experimentally demonstrated. The ability to focus the distributed array radar on a dominant scatterer and then scan in angle to detect a smaller target using the now available two-way array gain was demonstrated. Recohering (and maintaining coherence) on the small target was demonstrated too.<>
