After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

As an effective access to sources of information, the education in the 21st century is characterized by the extensive application of information technology. With a lot of advantages, IT application to P.E. teaching reform has become one of the most important topics. In this paper, based on theoretical and practical analysis, it suggests that at present stage, problems are quite apparent in applying IT to P.E. such as outdated ideas about education, shortage of fund and high-quality teachers, neglect of the dominant position of students and so on. Concerning these problems, corresponding countermeasures are put forward, including changing ideas about education, increasing investment, providing technical support, strengthening training of the teacher and establishing the informationized teaching mode of “student-centered, teacher-led”.
