Abstract
Rainfall-rate statistics for several zones in Spain are plotted and discussed. Particular attention is given to cumulative rainfall distributions for Barcelona, the middle Tajo Valley, and Western Andalusia, and to the monthly distribution of the average number of high rate events and average maximum rainfall rates for the middle Tajo Valley and Western Andalusia.<>
