Abstract :
An important and novel aspect of the BSB transmissions is the inclusion of a conditional access (CA) system. This type of operation is new to UK broadcasting. It is used in the United States, but for much smaller operations than that of BSB. In addition the level of sophistication of BSB´s CA system will be considerably higher than those used within the USA
