Abstract :
We construct a normal mode Green´s function representing the steady-state acoustic response in a liquid layer overlying a viscoelastic multilayered half space. The acoustic responses are calculated for the cases where the subbottom is a single homogeneous layer or multilayered homogeneous subbottom consists of sediments such as course sand, fine sand, very fine sand, silty sand, sand silt clay, sandy-silt, clayey-silt, silty-clay.
